No Heat
Admiral · AGD4475TQ1 7.0 cu ft Gas Dryer with Moisture Sensor and Wrinkle Guard
The dryer drum rotates normally but produces no heat. The #1 cause is a blown thermal fuse — test it for continuity (should read 0 ohms). Always clean the entire dryer vent duct when replacing the thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse is OK, check the gas igniter — test for continuity (should read 50-400 ohms). If the igniter is open (infinite ohms), it is cracked or broken and must be replaced. Also verify the gas supply is turned on — check the shut-off valve behind the dryer and at the gas meter. A failed flame sensor can also prevent the gas valve from opening.
