WAND STUCK
Ryobi · Ryobi RY142300 2300 PSI Brushless Electric Pressure Washer
The spray wand trigger sticks in the pulled (on) position and does not spring back when released, or the trigger is very stiff and hard to squeeze. The pressure washer continues spraying when the trigger should be released. This is a safety issue — the trigger lock may be accidentally engaged. Check the trigger lock mechanism (a small latch or button on the spray gun) and disengage it. If the trigger is physically stuck due to mineral deposits, corrosion, or debris, clean the trigger pivot area with a penetrating lubricant (WD-40 or silicone spray). If the return spring inside the spray gun has broken, the trigger will not self-return. Replace the spray gun assembly — do not use the pressure washer with a stuck trigger as it is a safety hazard. Spray guns are a standard wear item and are available through Ryobi parts.
