NO PRESSURE
Ryobi · Ryobi RY142300 2300 PSI Brushless Electric Pressure Washer
The motor is running (you can hear it) but no water pressure comes from the spray nozzle, or water flows out at garden hose pressure with no boost. The pump is not building pressure. Common causes: The garden hose is not connected or the water supply is not turned on — verify water is flowing to the pressure washer inlet. There may be air trapped in the pump — disconnect the spray gun from the high-pressure hose, turn on the water supply, and squeeze the spray gun trigger to purge air from the system. Let water flow through for 30 seconds before reconnecting. The inlet water filter screen may be clogged — remove the garden hose from the inlet and check the small mesh filter for debris. The nozzle may be clogged — remove the spray nozzle from the wand and clear any debris with a nozzle cleaning pin (included with most Ryobi pressure washers). If the pump has been stored with water inside during freezing conditions, internal seals and check valves may be damaged from ice expansion, requiring pump replacement.
