Nest · Nest Thermostat E
Thermostat displays the wrong time, causing scheduled events to fire at incorrect times. Usually caused by no Wi-Fi connection — Nest syncs time automatically via NTP over the internet. Check the time zone setting in Settings > Date & Time > Time Zone. An extended power outage can cause clock drift since the internal real-time clock keeps time for only a limited period without power. Connect to Wi-Fi and restart the thermostat to force a time sync.
