Nest · Nest Temperature Sensor
The Nest Temperature Sensor has lost Bluetooth communication with the thermostat. The app shows the sensor as 'Not responding' and the thermostat ignores this sensor for temperature-based decisions. Most common cause is a dead CR2 battery (replace it first). If the battery is fresh, the sensor may be too far from the thermostat (Bluetooth range ~50 feet line-of-sight, less through walls). Try removing and re-pairing the sensor in the app: go to the sensor > Remove, then Add > Sensor and follow pairing steps.
