A02
Nest · Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen)
Thermostat shows 'Delayed' or 'In 2 hours' or 'In 5 min' before starting heating or cooling. The battery is too low to safely switch the HVAC relay. This is a power-stealing problem — the thermostat cannot charge fast enough from the R wire alone. Very common on systems without a C-wire, especially heat-only systems with only R and W wires. Install a C-wire or Nest Power Connector to resolve.
