WIFI FAIL
Sony · Sony HT-A7000 7.1.2-Channel Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
The soundbar cannot connect to the home Wi-Fi network, or frequently drops its wireless network connection. This affects streaming features including Spotify Connect, Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay, and multi-room audio with other Sony speakers. Verify the Wi-Fi password was entered correctly — soundbar on-screen keyboards can be difficult to use, making typos common. Move the soundbar closer to the Wi-Fi router or eliminate obstructions between them. Try connecting to the 2.4 GHz network band instead of 5 GHz for better range through walls, although at lower speed. If the Wi-Fi module cannot connect at all, update the soundbar firmware via USB drive instead of over-the-air. Ensure the router firmware is up to date as well. As a workaround for persistent Wi-Fi issues, use Bluetooth or HDMI ARC for audio, which do not require Wi-Fi.
