LED OFF
Rheem · Rheem R96V 96% AFUE Two-Stage Variable Speed Upflow Gas Furnace
The IFC (Integrated Furnace Control) board has no 24VAC power. The diagnostic LED is completely dark. Check the 115VAC supply to the furnace at the breaker and the furnace power switch (looks like a standard light switch, often on or near the furnace). Check the 3-amp fuse on the IFC board — remove and test for continuity. If the fuse is blown, identify the cause before replacing: common causes include a short in the thermostat wiring (R and C wires touching) or a failed 24VAC transformer. Test the transformer output with a multimeter — it should read 24-28 VAC.
