MECH-WHEELS
Polaris · Polaris 3900 Sport Pressure-Side Pool Cleaner
One or more wheels do not spin, or the wheels spin at different speeds causing the cleaner to travel in circles: (1) Debris jammed in the wheel axle — hair, string, or debris can wrap around the axle. Remove the wheel and clean the axle. (2) Worn wheel bearings — if the wheel wobbles or grinds, the internal bearing is worn. Replace the wheel or bearing. (3) Worn drive mechanism — the internal turbine drives gears that power the wheels. If gear teeth are stripped or the turbine vanes are worn, the wheels lose power. Replace the turbine and/or gear assembly. (4) Uneven RPM — both sides should spin at the same rate. If one side is faster, the cleaner circles. Check for obstructions or wear on the slower side.
