E08
Pentair · Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF Variable Speed Pool Pump
The pump failed to achieve prime within the allotted priming time (approximately 5 minutes). The pump runs at priming speed and monitors for flow — if water flow is not established within the timeout, E08 appears. Common causes include an air leak on the suction side (pump lid O-ring, pipe joints, valves), low pool water level (skimmer sucking air), closed suction or return valves, clogged strainer basket or skimmer basket, or a plugged impeller. Check the pump lid O-ring for cracks and apply silicone lubricant. Verify water level is at mid-skimmer. Open all valves. Clear strainer basket.
