Thermostat sends a call signal (heating, cooling, or fan) but the HVAC system does not respond. May indicate the HVAC system is completely off, the furnace door safety switch is open, a control board fuse is blown, a breaker is tripped, or the control board itself has failed. Check for 24VAC at the thermostat R terminal. Check the furnace error LED for diagnostic flash codes. Test continuity of the thermostat cable from base to furnace.
