TONER-LOW
Canon · Canon imageCLASS MF453dw 40 ppm Wireless Duplex Mono Laser All-in-One Printer
The toner cartridge is running low on toner. You can continue printing when this message appears — the actual number of remaining pages depends on your print coverage (Canon ratings are based on 5% page coverage). When print quality starts to degrade (faded areas, light patches), try removing the cartridge and gently rocking it from side to side to redistribute the remaining toner — this can extend the cartridge life by several dozen pages. Have a replacement cartridge ready but do not install it until quality actually degrades. Canon imageCLASS models use a page counter combined with a toner density sensor to estimate remaining toner. The "Toner Low" warning may appear well before the cartridge is actually empty.
