The washer is not filling with water or is filling too slowly. The control board expected to reach the target water level within a set time and did not. Check that both hot and cold water supply valves behind the washer are fully open. Check for kinked supply hoses. Clean the inlet valve screens (small mesh filters at the hose connections on the back of the washer) — sediment and mineral buildup can restrict flow. If the valves and hoses are clear, the water inlet valve solenoid has likely failed. Replace the inlet valve. Note: some cycles require both hot and cold supply even if you select only cold — verify both are connected.
