MECH-BOOT
Electrolux · ELFW7637AW 4.0 cu ft Front Load Washer with Steam and Sanitize Cycle
The rubber door boot seal (bellows) between the door opening and the outer tub is torn, cracked, or has developed mold/mildew. Water may leak from the front during operation. The boot seal flexes with every door opening and can develop tears at the fold points. Mold grows in the folds if moisture is not dried after use. To replace, remove the outer retaining ring (wire spring clamp), then the inner ring. Pull the old boot off and install the new one. To prevent mold, leave the door open after each wash and wipe the seal dry.
