Dacor · DMW2420S 24 in 1.2 cu ft 1000W Sensor Microwave Oven
The internal temperature monitoring sensor has an open circuit. The microwave uses this sensor to prevent overheating of the cavity, magnetron, and control components. The microwave will shut down as a safety precaution. Disconnect power and check the temperature sensor connections. Measure sensor resistance — it should show a finite resistance at room temperature (not infinite/OL). If the sensor reads open, replace it. Do NOT bypass the temperature sensor — it is a fire safety device.
