E1
Brother · Brother PE535 Embroidery Machine with 4x4 Embroidery Area and Large Color LCD
Error E1 appears on the LCD screen when the bobbin winding spindle on top of the machine is pushed to the right (bobbin winding position) while you are trying to sew. When the bobbin winder is engaged, the needle mechanism is disengaged, so the machine cannot sew. Push the bobbin winding spindle back to the left (sewing position) until it clicks. Remove any bobbin from the winding spindle if one is still on it. The machine should immediately clear the error and allow normal sewing. This is a user-setting issue, not a malfunction — the machine is working correctly by preventing you from sewing with the bobbin winder engaged.
