LED-OFF
Bradford White · D-W-2-75T6BN Ultra Low NOx
The ICON System status LED is completely dark — no blinking at all. The gas control valve is receiving no power. On Bradford White gas water heaters, the gas valve is powered entirely by the thermopile (no electrical connection needed). If the LED is dark, the thermopile is either disconnected, completely failed, or the pilot is not lit. First, attempt to light the pilot. If the pilot lights but the LED remains dark, the thermopile wiring may be disconnected at the gas valve. If the thermopile is connected and the pilot is lit but the LED stays dark, the gas control valve has failed internally and must be replaced.
