MECH-STEERING
Ariens · IKON XD 42 Zero-Turn
The mower pulls or drifts to one side when both lap bars are in the neutral or full-forward position. First check tire pressure — uneven pressure is the most common cause. Both rear tires should be inflated to the same PSI per the specs. If tire pressure is correct, adjust the tracking using the tracking adjustment bolts on the lap bar linkage. Each side can be adjusted independently. On Ariens IKON models, the tracking bolts are on the back of the frame near the hydraulic motors. Set both lap bars to neutral and adjust until the mower tracks straight.
