Overflows
Amana · NTW4519JW 3.8 cu ft HE Top Load Washer with Deep Water Wash
Water continues to fill the tub past the proper level and overflows. The water level pressure switch senses the water level via a small rubber air hose connected to the tub. If the hose is kinked, cracked, disconnected, or if the air dome at the tub connection is clogged with detergent residue, the switch never senses the correct level and keeps the inlet valve open. Check the air hose from the tub to the pressure switch. Blow through it to verify it is clear. If the hose is good, the pressure switch may be stuck open. A stuck-open inlet valve diaphragm can also cause uncontrolled filling.
